The story below is a real life account that I have heard recently, well I found it really dramatic, but all written below is REAL.
* The names have been changed
It's been a year since Danny died; I could still remembered how June was so shocked that she received a message from Danny's phone
"Danny just died this morning... the wake would be...",
She kept telling herself that it was a prank, that it was not true. Danny was an adventurous biker who likes exploring places where no one has explored before, that weekend he planned to ride up to Malaysia. Before the trip, he messaged June that he would really miss her although it was just a weekend, she hesitated to answer but replied that she would really miss him too, that was a message which June will never regret sending.
After viewing the news that night, his death was confirmed, just 2 weeks of friendship and he is gone. Memories of Danny flooded June's mind, June has guessed that Danny liked her, and she too was mesmerized with him, probably due to her recent breakup. There was once he came all the way down to have dessert with her, impressing her with witty jokes, bringing her to places where he explored. All was over and she has to accept the fact, she was sentimental, and kept every message sent to her.
It was months ago that June broke up with her boyfriend, their relationship between each other was getting more and more alienated throughout the years and ended with a painful breakup. Her boyfriend was able to get a cheaper deal of mobile phone with his card then, so when they were still together she got her phone under his name. Currently her phone plan was about to end, and she does not want to continue with it anymore.
During a camp few years ago, she got to know of this guy, Daniel. He has that same witty feel in him, and June enjoys talking to him. They exchanged a few emails, and stopped exchanging till recently when June wanted to stop her mobile phone plan. They started to talk over Skype; confining each other's problem to each other, she would complain to him about her problems and he would try to find a solution and vise versa, it became a daily affair, leaving June all mesmerized again, falling in love with his voice, asking herself if Daniel was interested in her.
And so coincidentally, June's first love, Sam, was working at a mobile phone shop at Toapayoh , and her friend so happened that she wanted to get a phone, and they bumped into each other. She quickly messaged June to have a quick peep at him in Toapayoh, because he has turned more handsome.
Memories of them together flashed back inside her mind, like making sandwiches for each other, having a picnic by the reservoir, writing poems, quotes, and what they did into a diary everyday, and many more sweet memories.
*Flash back*
The reason why they broke up was because June's used to be good friend, Jane, liked Sam too. Jane and June knew Sam through another camp, it started off that Sam was very close with Jane, playing and laughing together all the time. June liked Sam, till she could not sleep one night, and she rang him up to tell him how she felt.
Sam did not know how to react and went to Jane to ask her
"If let us say one day someone comes over to you and tells you that he like you, how would you react?"
Thinking that he was hinting her she felt very ecstatic she said, "I will tell him straight that I love him too."
The following day Jane went up to June to boast what happened to her that night, but June was traumatized to hear that June was already steady with Sam. Jane's relationship with June turned sour, and eventually became hatred. I guess Jane feels that if she were to make the first move before June did, Sam could have been hers.
There was even once when Jane confronted June to ask,
"Tell me what can I do to make you jealous?"
June's reply was
"Maybe if you were to sleep with him,"
"But I know you would not, because you are a Christian"
Jane angrily replied,
"You may never know, I might."
That psychotic Jane threatened Sam that if he doesn't come over she would attempt suicide, knowing he is a softhearted; he went over to her place to accompany her. The day after Jane went protest in front of June, that he spent the whole night with her and many stuff more.
*Flash back ended*
The following night at about 9, when the shop was about to close and when all the employees were having their dinner at the burger king next to the shop, June happened to have a glance at him. Knowing that her appearance has changed a lot, and that her face was at a real bad condition, she decided to face her back at him.
