![]() -=| Deprivation of brick game |=- Okay so what did I do on my Birthday? You guys might be wondering why did I post those lame Chinese stuff on my birthday instead of something else more meaningful or sensible. Well I worked that day away as I was rushing for the mid month hand in, and it was a Friday which was a day which prohibits me to hang out. Life is not that bad after all; I got e most sms in a day of my whole life, actually it makes me sound really sad, because it was just about 5. Received a few handshakes here and there on Saturday giving me their wishes, whether those wishes were forced or very sincere I would like to thank all of you. Remember a few posts ago I posted that I wished to go to the Turkish restaurant very much, after thinking over a few nights, I did not think my mum and sis would appreciate those middle eastern crusine and that they would surely compare the Turkish pizza with the pizza hut's pizza, which was a huge difference in quality, quantity, pricing and everything else. Don't you think so? It was like comparing roti prata with high-class butter croissants or bagel. And that on Friday night they were suggesting 'The crystal Jade', 'Sizzler', 'Pizza Hut' and many others. But my dad wanted to stick with the Turkish restaurant, which was the cheapest. Frantically giving away lame excuses to prevent us from setting our plan on a specific restaurant. 'Singapore has employed many Malaysian cooks and many of them are used to cook with pork oil, and so it is not good to go to the Chinese Crystal Jade.' And so on Saturday night the family went over to Toapayoh's Sizzler to have a huge stuffing as if we were 4 thanks giving turkeys, or should I say 4 toy teddies going through the last step of being filled in with those fiber and wool. Remember just a few weeks ago I went for a job interview at Jurong? I went to their value shop and I saw the legendary Brick game hanging on the rack, it was just $2.05 and I guess it was just a good bargain. Ever since then it has been my kill time buddy, playing it everyday as if I would die not playing it. But it has been about a month now, and the button has became loose due the frequent playing, and it was discovered when I was playing level 13 and I was trying to rotate the brick but that button just would not work and before I knew it, it was the end of my game. Nowadays when I am doing nothing, I would just get images in my head of how the brick falls nicely into the brick formation like what happens in the game, I guess I became too dependent on that game and that it feels like a cold turkey when I am not playing the game. It was so mysterious, it was just last night when dad was about to bathe my sis told me that she wants to show me something, she went to her bag and took out a... ... let me continue it in the following post next week. He he he...... don't you just hate it when shows always stop right smack on the exciting part of every show? She took out a black note book and in front of it was 3 skulls on it wrote something about 'Beyond redemption... ...', just then my dad came out looking very suspicious gazing at us and pretended to be normal and walked into the kitchen. Phew, I flipped the book to the back in the niche of time. It was just so cool, and my sis said that it was very gothic and thought that I might like it. And yeah I just like it so much; my sister got it from the fund raising fair at Tampines poly. Phew! Wonder what would my father's expressions be when he sees the picture on the book. Pulls my sister's earrings, *ear tears and becomes a pair of split ears*, he struggles to hold on to my sister's hair and with both hands try to reap off her hair. Hair flying everywhere...(Deep in his heart says "I have always wanted to do that"... jealous of those ear lops which he regretted not piercing during his young days, and that nice long and thick hair which he cannot keep any more as he has lost most of them."I have always wanted to be a hippie, i cannot, so do u") Tells her 'What are you trying to teach your brother!' Twists my ear and pulls me to one side and gives me a long lecture that the book is evil. Okay okay okay that's too drama, hahaha, but I'm not surprised if my dad did that, he is just a tyrant, do not be deceived by his holiness at church. |
